For too long we believe the collector community, as one of the most passionate in the world, has been ignored or marginalised. We have to go to Pinterest and Instagram to share our collections, we have to go to eBay or Craigslist to buy and sell and Facebook or Reddit to get social. There are only so many Comic Cons we can get to and they are expensive events,so we are bringing that geek out experience to you 365 days a year.

Clect is addressing this because we care. We are launching as a community where you can share your collection, organise and discover new amazing collectors and collections. We will soon be creating a market place where you can buy and sell with each other at the lowest charges on the internet.

If you have feedback on features you think are essential to your collecting experience then please email me at steve@clectaverse.com.

Clectaverse is a lifelong ambition for Steve... other than building a working Lightsaber and having beers with Bill Murray. He is a passionate collector of many things, but Star Wars and The Simpsons really take pride of place on his shelves. As a collector himself and proud geek, this platform has really been built for him, but he is a nice guy and will share it with you.

His favourite movie.....errrrr Guardians of the Lost Star Wars Ark
It takes something special to drag Karl away from his comics, Xbox and pies but against all odds since co-founding Clectaverse that's exactly what's happened. He regards himself as very much the Samwise Gamgee of the team; short, plump, hairy-toed, dependable and willing to throw jewellery into active volcanoes faster than you can say "Nazgul". A card carrying sci-fi and fantasy geek, Karl has a rare condition that prevents him finishing sentences in a coherent banjo.

His favorite film is The Empire Strikes Back.
